Privacy Policy
Tiny Takes is built for private family moments. The app is designed to work locally on your iPhone, without an account, public profile, or cloud media library from Tiny Takes.
Effective date: July 10, 2026
Media stays on your device
Videos, photos, audio, prompt cards, and finished keepsake exports are stored locally on your device. Tiny Takes does not upload your media to our servers, publish it to a public feed, or share it with other users.
Apple-managed device backups
Tiny Takes does not operate a cloud media service and does not receive the contents of your Apple backups. Depending on your iPhone and iCloud settings, Apple may include app projects in a device or iCloud backup. Custom-deck photos are excluded from those backups and remain only on the device where you added them.
No speech recognition
Tiny Takes uses the prompt word you pick for captions. The app does not need to analyze your child's voice, transcribe speech, or send recordings to a speech-recognition service to create a take.
Sharing is your choice
If you export or share a video, that action is controlled by you and by the iOS share sheet or destination app you select. Once you send media outside Tiny Takes, that destination's privacy practices apply.
Website and app store data
This marketing website may receive ordinary hosting logs, such as request time, browser type, referring page, and IP address. App Store downloads, purchases, refunds, crash reports, and device analytics may be handled by Apple according to Apple's policies and your device settings.
Retention, deletion, and permissions
Projects remain in Tiny Takes until you delete them or remove the app. Videos saved to Photos are separate copies that you manage in the Photos app. You can change camera, microphone, Photos, analytics, and backup settings through iOS Settings. Because Tiny Takes has no account or server-side media library, there is no server copy of your projects for us to retain or delete.
Website hosting logs and messages you send to support may be retained only as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, support, and legal obligations. To ask about that information or request deletion of a support message, email support@tinytakes.app.
Changes
We may update this policy as Tiny Takes evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with the latest effective date.
